  • Lineé Van der Meer
    Founder & Clinical Adviser

With a background in clinical psychology, and as a mum, I have a special interest in the ripple effect of trauma on mothers, their children, whānau and the greater community. I believe that by helping others heal their trauma and find the freedom to live lives that are fulfilling and self-actualising, not only are their lives positively impacted, but also the lives of their children and the generations to follow.

Having worked as a therapist in both the private and public sectors, I have seen first hand how easy it is for people who struggle with mental health issues and who are desperate for help to fall through the cracks and not get the help they need due to barriers such as funding. Which is why Moving On is so close to my heart.

  • Kate Wright MBA
Marketing Strategist - Generate with Kate

I work with people to break out of a life they no longer love and create a more intentional one. As an international business coach and mentor, I work in the realm of growth, expansion, and exciting possibilities. And I have a pretty strong history of rejecting situations and beliefs that no longer serve me, freeing myself up for new adventures and opportunities - you could say the concept of ‘moving on’ is in my DNA. I believe that business is a vehicle that can give people the financial independence to finally do the things they want to do. Starting and growing a business, just like breaking the trauma cycle, takes grit and guts. First to decide, then to find the right support, and then to go all-in on the process of self-compassion, healing and transformation.

I’m excited and honoured to be a part of the team bringing these life-changing opportunities to people and for the powerful ripple effect that seemingly small transformations bring to the wider community.

E ngākau nui ana au ki manaakitanga

A business strategist and educator, my mahi is underpinned by diversity, equity and inclusion. I live and breathe the world of strategic balance and supporting change management within organisations, by focusing on the organisation changing for the good of all people rather than changing the people to fit the needs of the organisation.

Moving On is an incredible organisation working to disrupt that multi-generational disadvantage that is all too common in our world.

On a personal level I know what it looks like for those I love to experience trauma and struggle to obtain much needed professional help, and I can see how powerful the kaupapa of Moving On is in enabling equitable access by empowering people that need it to obtain the support of their choice. Who wouldn't want to be involved in that kind of positive impact?
